A local therapist, here to help you

Brooke Martin LPC, NCC

Have a life change or obstacle you’re trying to overcome? Frustrated and exhausted? Not even sure what you came here looking for? You don't have to suffer in silence. Sometimes seeking help from a licensed and certified expert is the best way to put things into perspective. I have been practicing as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the Brazos Valley since 2009, and your well-being and mental strength is my number one priority. I’m happy to guide you through all of life’s challenges with the attention, care, and resources all of us could benefit from at some point in life.

A Bit About Therapy

In this fast changing world, finding balance can be difficult and may seem impossible at times. People may experience feelings of helplessness, hopelessness, and the thoughts of giving up can make it hard to push forward when conflicting goals or objectives are in front of you demanding action in order to change. Anxious or depressing thoughts and feelings accompany the trying times of life, and therapy can be a way to get yourself and/or your family up to optimal functioning.

Sometimes our old ways of dealing with life's challenges just aren't working anymore and we need an outside perspective and guidance. If you feel like you are navigating life with an outdated road map, let's sit down and discuss how to get back on track.

A Bit About Brooke

I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2006 with a B.A. in Psychology and earned my M.A. in Counseling at Sam Houston State University in 2009 with a specialty in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am also a National Certified Counselor. Being a lifelong resident of the Brazos Valley, I am in tune to the needs of the people in our community.

I provide counseling for individuals and all kinds of relationships. We exist as part of evolving relationship networks, and balancing our own well-being with others' is a continual challenge. In counseling, I see myself as a guide and mediator- whether helping you resolve concerns within yourself or your relationships.
